GUARD, which aims to create a cybersecurity framework to GUArantee Reliability and trust for Digital service chains, is becoming a reality with the help of 14 international partners. With each their own expertise and skills to bring to the table, each will play a significant role in overcoming current limitations in existing practice and technologies. Italtel provides powerful products for the efficient delivery of innovative, multimedia, interactive services in the Web, allowing the mixing of information and data retrieved from different networks and from any user device. Italtel also offers remarkable expertise in IT solutions, network integration and security aspects. Focus areas of their current R&D activities include SDN, NFV, WebRTC, and IoT.

CNIT (Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni – National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications) is a non-profit consortium of 37 major Italian universities. It is their joint mission to carry out research activity, to foster the technological transfer towards industry, and to provide coordination and networking support among members. 

The FIWARE Foundation provides shared resources to help achieve the FIWARE mission. That is: to develop an open sustainable ecosystem around the FIWARE open source platform. This is created to drive the definition and integration of public, royalty- free and implementation-driven software platform standards that ease the creation of Smart Applications in multiple sectors.

Wobcom GmbH is a part of the Stadtwerke Wolfsburg AG (public utility company of Wolfsburg) together with its six associated companies the service provider concerning the infrastructure in Wolfsburg and region. With its services and work it contributes to the development of this special business and living location and affect several parts of daily living in and around the city of Wolfsburg.

Minds & Sparks (M&S) is an independent, non-profit research organisation based in Vienna, Austria, fostering science, innovation and technology to address major challenges and develop new methods and solutions for a better society. M&S creates strong connections between science and society using interdisciplinary approaches, promoting best practices and raising awareness on research and innovation achievements.

The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) is the largest research institution in Austria and provides major contribution to strengthen the technological knowledge basement of the Austrian economy and to maintain Austria’s position as a business location in international competition. AIT is a RTO of European format and focuses on future key technologies and infrastructures.

The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) is one of the largest research institutes of Greece with well-organized facilities and highly qualified staff. The Institute of Computer Science (FORTH-ICS), conducts basic and applied research, developing applications and products, providing services. The Distributed Computing Systems (DCS) laboratory, is active in systems-security and network-monitoring research.

8BELLS is a start-up based in Nicosia, Cyprus specialized in modelling and techno-economic studies for businesses, as well as in selected parts of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The company delivers customizable solutions that enhance modern communications relevant to the area of 5G Mobile Technology, Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and also management solutions for Cloud Infrastructures.

Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK) is a research and development organization supervised directly by the Ministry of Digital Affairs of Republic of Poland. NASK conducts scientific and R&D activities in cooperation with national and international universities, research institutes, state administration and ICT companies under national and international R&D projects or bilateral agreements.

MC2 Innovations is a technology startup specialized in delivery of blockchain technology solutions. Law and Internet Foundation (LIF) is a Bulgarian NGO & Research Centre which supports and performs applied studies, scientific researches, programmes and projects in the field of legal, technological, economic and social issues related to the fast penetration of information and communication technologies both in public and private sectors.

J.I.G. Internet Consulting provides intelligent management solutions aimed to improve the interoperability and integration of internet-based information systems and devices. Since 2001, JIG group has been present in the Spanish market developing and providing internet solutions, integral management of services, mobile systems, applications and intelligent management solutions.

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (UNITOV) together with the Policlinico Tor Vergata (PTV) have a team of over 2,000 physicians, biologists and technologists devoted to the study of epidemiological, clinical and experimental aspects of human diseases. The activity in both hospital and university facilities is aimed at developing research, both experimental and clinical.
